Our Story

A family kitchen, a neighborhood meat counter, and a love for la raza.

★ How It Started ★

From Home to Glendale

Los Monos started where every great Mexican kitchen starts — at home. Family recipes passed down across generations, slow-cooked in big pots, served with warm tortillas and bigger laughs. When we opened our doors on Lake Street in Glendale, we made a promise: cook every plate the way we'd cook for our own family.

The Kitchen

Tacos. Burritos. Fajita plates. Breakfast burritos that get you through the day and crunch wraps that make you skip lunch tomorrow. We marinate our own meats, sauté our own peppers, and never cut corners on the sabor.

The Meat Counter

Right in the same shop, we run a full carnicería. The same beef, chicken, pork, and chorizo we cook with goes home with you by the pound — already marinated, ready for your grill. Ranchera, ribeye, tomahawk, milanesa, costilla norteña, red & green chorizo, and more. Stop by the counter or call ahead for big orders.

Catering the Block

Quinceañeras. Backyard birthdays. Weddings. Corporate lunches. Whatever the event, we bring the taco cart, the food, and the fiesta. From simple taco trays to full-service catering with staff and setup — we'll feed your people right.
